About Us

The Argosy is the independent student journal of news, opinion, and the arts. Our content is written, edited, and funded by the students of Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick.

Hi everyone! I’m Hannah (she/her), one of the Co-Editor-In-Chiefs this academic year for The Argosy. I’m currently in my fourth year here at Mt.A, double-majoring in English and psychology. The Argosy has definitely been one of the highlights of my time here at Mt.A, so I’m thrilled to keep sharing stories with the campus and the greater Tantramar community. I’m beyond excited to lead such a fantastic team this year alongside Jaya.

Hi! My name is Jaya Condran and I’m from Cole Harbour, NS, and my pronouns are she/her. It’s my third year here at Mt. A, where I study Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. It’s also my third year here at The Argosy and I am so honoured to be a Co-Editor-in-Chief alongside Hannah. We have so much in store for our fellow students and Tantramar community thanks to our amazing team of over 30 staff hard at work on Volume 155. A fun fact about me is that I was once interviewed by CBC about the amazing work we do here at The Argosy.

Hey! I’m Daniel, the News Editor of The Argosy. I come from Port Williams, Nova Scotia and am in my fourth year at Mount Allison studying International Relations. When I’m not hanging out with my dog, I love to listen to music (SZA and Kendrick are my favs) and take part in musical theatre.
