I just put in "Why I don't like flat caps" in my browser and this was offered to me. MtA. Do they mean Mount Allison? Then I saw the Argosy. I am a Mt A alumnus from 1983 and read with interest your opinion. I can't put my finger on why flat caps do nothing for me. I do like the puffed out structure of Baker boys or Newsboy caps. I have a few myself, as well as the odd Tilley and Winter black lambs wool for the coldest days. But flat caps seem to make the forehead disappear. Very few men look good in them and they are often too small looking for the head they are sitting on. As for mens' style at MtA., I can't remember any of us having style in the early 80s unless it was a T-shirt depicting our favourite beer.
