A letter from the editors

Tedi

Welcome back to another year of the Argosy! We are excited to share new, fresh content with you all. This year, we hope to engage more with the student population, the town of Sackville, student organizations, and alumni. Much of our social media is limited due to the recent Bill C-18, but we hope you will keep reading at since1872.ca and around town! Additionally, we will be hosting more events to ensure we stay connected, including a mixer at The Pond on September 29 from 8:30 to 10:30PM. Come out and meet our team, and have the chance to win some prizes!

We are dedicated to continuing to diversify our content. If you have an idea, we would be happy to hear it! If you have creative submissions: photos, illustrations, poems, and creative writing, send them to our Arts, Culture, and Creative Co-Editors Maika Branch and Jacob Farrell by emailing [email protected]. If you have opinions on local issues, please send your articles to our Opinions Editor, Justin Jamieson, by emailing [email protected]. If you have humour articles, satire, or comics, please send them to Humour Editor Callum Keenan by emailing [email protected]. We cannot wait to see your incredible submissions!

A special thanks to our amazing new team of writers, editors, photographers and admin who have been working tirelessly to make this issue possible. We would also like to thank Argosy alumni William Wolfe-Wylie and Erica Butler for helping with training, as well as Alex Morrison, Marissa LeFurgey, Chloe Duguay and Mt. A’s Fine Arts Department.

We hope you all enjoy reading the first issue of 23-24 as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Sincerely,

Emma Yee and Tedi Buffett
