Year of Study: Three
Hometown/country: Germany
My favourite experience at Mt. A:
During International Orientation and Orientation Week we participated in loads of things. Most of them were new to me as European universities do not do things like Carpe Diem or Karaoke BBQ. My favourite experience so far… actually, there have been a lot. But, if I had to choose, it would be the Prince Edward Island trip. We went with a large group of people and got to see a wee bit of Canada.
Something different or surprising I experienced:
I am surprised by how close-knit the university community is. Mt. A is so small you basically know everyone (well at least many people) and there is always someone you can ask for help or advice.
Words of advice:
Participate in as many activities and trips as you can. That is the best way to meet new people and learn more about your host country! Do not be shy, just go for it!
